Forged 1095 Recurve by Matt Bailey
This is forged from a bar of 1095. It has a slight recurve and a bold hamon. The handle is ironwood and the tang is tapered. The leather sheath has a scroll pattern toolwork.

This is a large forged chopping knife. It was made from 1084 and was clay coated for a hamon. The sheath is leather with toolwork and a lizard skin inlay.

This is a 1095 recurve, clay quenched with a nice hamon. Cocobolo handle and ambidexterous horizontal and vertical carry sheath.

I tried a new design on the Halibut line. I went with a slight recurve. The handle is black and blue G10, but it looks a little more black than blue.

I use my forge to heat my shop when it gets cold. This knife is the result of that. It is forged W1 with maple burl handle.
